God Made Everything

Before anything existed, there was God. God has always been, and he always will be.

Out of his great love, God made everything: the sky and the stars, the hills around Phuvkiu, rivers, trees, birds, animals and flowers. The Bible tells us that each time God made something, he saw that it was good.

Then God made people: man and woman, in his own image. That means you are very special. You can think, choose, love, and talk with God in prayer. No animal or plant can do that.

God gave us the world as a gift and asked us to take care of it. When we look after plants and animals, share food, and keep our village clean, we say “thank you” to God.

On the seventh day God rested. That is why Sunday is a special day for us: a day to rest, go to Mass, and spend time with family.
